Product information, quotes, and ordering
Bottle Sealers supplies induction cap sealers, foil liners, and related packaging support services for pharmaceutical, food, and chemical operations. Product details, dimensions, compatibility notes, and performance claims are prepared with care, but they may change as part of ongoing product development or supplier updates.
Any quotation issued by our team is valid for the period stated on the quotation, or if no period is stated, for 7 days from the date of issue. A quotation is not an order confirmation. Orders only become binding once accepted in writing by Bottle Sealers and any required deposit has been received. Pricing is shown in Rand unless stated otherwise and may exclude delivery, installation, or other site-specific charges where these are not expressly included.
- Site visits, line checks, and commissioning work may be quoted separately.
- Lead times can vary depending on stock, import schedules, and installation requirements.
- Any changes to specification after acceptance may affect price and delivery dates.
Technical support and on-site services
Where Bottle Sealers provides site installation, line commissioning, operator training, seal validation, preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, spares supply, liner matching, line optimisation, or remote support, these services are provided on the basis of the information supplied by the customer. Accurate machine details, line speeds, container types, cap sizes, and operating conditions are important for correct advice.
The customer remains responsible for safe site access, suitable utilities, and compliance with its own factory rules and statutory obligations. In Durban, Pinetown, Prospecton, Pietermaritzburg, Richards Bay, and other areas nationwide, access conditions, shift times, and load-shedding may affect attendance and completion times. We will use reasonable efforts to meet agreed schedules, but timing cannot always be guaranteed when external conditions change.
- Operators should follow all training and safety instructions given during commissioning or support visits.
- Customers should report seal defects, downtime, or product changes promptly for assessment.
- Maintenance intervals should be followed to reduce unplanned stoppages and avoid unnecessary wear.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by South African law, Bottle Sealers is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, production delays, or damage arising from misuse, incorrect installation by third parties, unsuitable liners, or failure to follow instructions. This includes issues caused by improper storage, condensation, coastal humidity, contamination, or incompatible packaging materials.
While we aim to provide accurate guidance and dependable support, the final suitability of a seal, liner, or process for a particular application remains the customer’s responsibility. Where a product or service has been supplied through a written agreement, our liability is limited to the extent set out in that agreement and, if no amount is stated, to the price paid for the specific item or service giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Customers must inspect goods on receipt and notify us of visible defects within a reasonable time.
- Any warranty is subject to proper use, storage, and installation.
