What working here looks like
We are based in Jacobs, Durban and support customers in Pinetown, Prospecton, Pietermaritzburg, Richards Bay and further afield. The work is hands on and often time sensitive, because a stopped line means product delays, extra waste and pressure on the packing floor.
Our team handles induction cap sealers, foil liners, site installation, commissioning, training and maintenance. That means you may be working in a food plant, a pharmaceutical packing room or a chemical filling site, sometimes in hot inland conditions and sometimes in coastal humidity that affects sealing consistency.
Roles we regularly hire for
We do not keep a public vacancy list, but we often need people who can work carefully and communicate clearly with customers. Some roles are office based, others are site based and involve travel to plants around KZN and beyond.
- Field commissioning and service technicians
- Technical sales support and application advice
- Operations and logistics coordination
- Customer support and order handling
- Training and seal validation support
What helps you stand out
Experience in packaging, production, maintenance or process equipment is useful, but the right attitude matters just as much. We value people who arrive on time, follow safety rules and can work neatly around live production lines.
- Practical fault finding and a steady approach
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Comfortable with travel, site work and basic reporting
- Ability to work with food, pharma and chemical standards
- Respect for PPE, lockout procedures and plant rules
If you have worked around generators, load shedding changeovers or backup power systems, that experience can help too. Many customers need support during outages and line restarts, so quick thinking matters. We also need people who can read a room and know when to ask questions, not assume.
Skills that matter on site
Our site work is practical and sometimes physically demanding. A good candidate can move between the workshop, store and production floor without losing focus, even when there is a tight turnaround.
- Basic mechanical or electrical understanding
- Care with small parts, spares and liner matching
- Record keeping for service reports and seal checks
- Ability to explain issues in plain language to operators
- Clean presentation and a professional manner on customer sites
How to send your CV
If you would like to be considered, send your CV through our contact form. Please include a short note telling us what type of role you are looking for, where you are based and whether you are open to local travel or national site work.
We read every application carefully and keep suitable CVs on file for future openings. If you have certificates, references or a short summary of sealing, maintenance or production experience, add those as well. It helps us understand where you could fit in the team, and it saves time later.
Why people stay with us
People who enjoy this work usually want practical responsibility, direct customer contact and a role where their effort shows quickly. When a line is commissioned properly or a seal issue is resolved, the customer feels it straight away, and so does our team.
We work with clear processes, proper support and a focus on getting things done safely. There is room to learn from experienced staff including our Managing Director Sibusiso Mthembu, Operations Manager Nokuthula Dlamini and the field and support team. It is steady work with variety, and no two weeks are exactly the same.
